Since 2019 Mitch has served as the MD and Head of Trading at Commonwealth Bank of Australia. Mitch brings with him over 20 years of extensive experience in the field of institutional banking, having worked for renowned global institutions across Singapore, New York, and Sydney. Throughout his career, Mitch has deep expertise in both trading and leadership. He has successfully led teams of traders, managing a diverse range of Fixed Income, Derivatives, and FX instruments. His journey with CBA began in the trading team, and after spending seven years at our head office in Sydney, he expanded his horizons and skill set overseas. Mitch returned to CBA in 2013, taking on the role of Global Head of Interest Rate Options

and Inflation Trading. We are fortunate to have such a seasoned professional leading our trading division, and I am confident that his wealth of experience and leadership will continue to drive our success. Mitch is an advocate for diversity and inclusion in trading, not only in gender but also diversity of thinking and spirit.

Isabel Beaumont is an Associate in the Futures Division of Commodities and Global Markets at Macquarie Group. She joined Macquarie in 2022 as a graduate on the Futures Execution desk. With over three years of experience, Isabel is responsible for listed derivatives sales and execution across global rates, equities, and commodities markets for institutional clients. Her expertise includes trade execution, market knowledge, and client engagement. Isabel holds a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Science from the Australian National University. She is excited to share insights from her experience as a sales trader at the WIBF & CBA Women in Trading Event.

Martine Schlosser is a Senior Portfolio Manager at Challenger Limited, where she oversees the management of Challenger Life’s liquid asset portfolio and offshore hedging function. With 20 years of experience in financial markets, Martine has deep expertise in derivatives, hedging and portfolio management. Prior to joining Challenger a decade ago, she held various banking roles in Australia and South Africa.

Shelby leads CBA’s Global Securities Financing business in Australia, with a strong record in repo, short term rates, funding and liquidity formed across all CBA roles in London, New York and Auckland.

Natalie has a proven track record in building and managing successful businesses. She began her career as banking and finance lawyer in Auckland, New Zealand before moving into investment banking in London. Natalie joined JP Morgan in the late 1990s after relocating to Australia and held progressively senior roles, including 14 years as Head of Debt Capital Markets. Under Natalie’s leadership, the DCM platform outperformed its peers in the Australian market for more than a decade. After 23 years at JP Morgan, Natalie was appointed Chief Operating Officer, Markets at National Australia Bank before joining RBC in 2021.

Natalie is passionate about diversity and inclusion and has provided support and mentoring to women throughout her three-decade career in financial services. She championed D&I at JP Morgan as a long-term member of the bank’s Women’s Interactive Network and driver of D&I initiatives including mentoring and career development. At RBC, Natalie continues to be strong advocate for D&I. She is a member of RBC’s Australia Diversity Leadership Council, Executive Sponsor of RBC’s Australian Pride Employee Resource Group and is actively involved in mentorship programs within the bank and in the community.

Natalie is a member of the Australian Financial Markets Association and sits on the Markets Governance Committee. She has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (History) from the University of Otago in New Zealand.

Natalie lives in Sydney with her family.
