Operational Resilience in Practice: What CPS 230 Really Demands

Navigating APRA’s CPS 230 – From Compliance to Resilience

APRA’s CPS 230 Operational Risk Management standard is now in force – and the stakes for impacted organisations and executives are high. Compliance alone is no longer enough as regulators are seeking evidence that resilience is deeply embedded, measurable, and effective in practice. The message is clear – “beyond compliant” is the new benchmark.

This session will equip you with the legal and risk insights and tools to rise to the challenge. WiBF has invited leading legal and risk experts to:

· unpack what “beyond compliant” means for Boards and executives; and

· explore practical strategies for managing challenges with Material Service Provider agreements.

You’ll also gain clarity on regulatory expectations and practical approaches to strengthening resilience across your organisation.

The Psychology of Successful Change

Leading change in 2026? Change is about more than strategy and timelines — it’s ultimately about people. In this interactive webinar, change communication specialist Lana North explores the psychology of successful change. It will help you truly understand why people resist change… and how to guide your team through the emotional side of it.

In this session, we’ll explore:

* The psychology of successful change: the unavoidable effect of the brain and human nature

* The ONE biggest key to success in any change (hint: it’s not time or money)

* Discovering your personal change reflex: exploring how you respond when change hits.

International Day of Rural Women: Driving Change, Innovation, and Connection

In celebration of International Day of Rural Women on 15 October, this webinar recognises and honours the resilience, strength, and vital contributions of women in remote and rural communities.

This important day is not only a celebration of achievement—highlighting the crucial roles rural women play in community leadership, regional development, and our own banking and finance sector, where they are driving change, improving financial access, and supporting economic resilience in their communities—but also a call to action. It reminds us of the unique challenges many women still face in isolated areas, from lack of access to basic services to deep-rooted gender stereotypes that can limit opportunity.

In this session, we’ll explore how rural organisations are leveraging technology and AI to boost connection, productivity, and opportunity. We’ll highlight innovative tools enabling women to thrive, share insights into the evolving rural landscape, and spotlight small but impactful actions corporations and individuals can take to offer meaningful support.

Join us as we shine a light on rural women’s stories and discuss how we can collectively foster inclusive growth and opportunity for all—no matter their postcode.
